- Originally designed to meet the requirements of the U.S. Navy’s Visit Board Search and Seize (VBSS) teams, this body armor is an advanced assault style, side-opening outer carrier vest system primarily for use in maritime/littoral environments. The vest stands out as truly an operators vest providing a high degree of mobility with minimum profile. Based on a “shooters cut” ballistic outline, the operator will immediately appreciate the unique features this vest offers. With water shedding ports and upgradeable passive floatation inserts the VBSS is the vest for waterborne operations.
