- The Maritime Combat Crewman Vest is engineered for maximum coverage and easy donning/doffing. The vest side cummerbunds wrap around to the front and are secured by a front gear flap that locks everything into position. The system has both an emergency cable release as well as a medical access point. This system can be configured to allow for optional groin protection, lower back protection, deltoid protection and neck/throat protection. Optional flotation inserts can be added to add buoyancy for operating in areas with water hazards.

• Removable armor compartments allow for scalability of the armor system
• Hard armor plate pockets are compatible with issued ESAPI & XSAPI plates
• When pulled, the single cable release will disengage both the sides and shoulders of the vest with one pull of the release handle
• Single-handed emergency egress quick-release system
• Mesh liner panels to help drain water
• Passive (foam) buoyancy panels with optionally differing levels of supplemental buoyancy – flotation panels provide a minimum of 13.5 lbs of positive flotation
• Sealed ballistics
• Five sizes to choose from in a range to meet the 5th to the 95th percentile Soldier (Small thru 2XL)
• Modular components - optional deltoid, groin, lower back and neck armor protection available (compatible with IOTV integrated components)
• All armor components meet or exceed current Interceptor Body armor system ballistic protection levels being issued to U.S. Army personnel
