- Originally designed to meet the requirements of the U.S. Navy’s VBSS teams, this body armor is an advanced assault style, side-opening outer carrier vest system primarily for use in maritime / littoral environments. The vest stands out as truly an operators vest providing a high degree of mobility with minimum profile. Based on a “shooters cut” ballistic outline, the operator will immediately appreciate the unique features this vest offers.

• Full wrap-around cummerbund with front Velcro fear flap
• Integrated single-point weapons sling
• Front and back plate pockets to accommodate ESAPI plates
• Easy insertion and removal of hard armor plates
• Plate pockets include a bottom opening exterior oriented flap for manual quick removal of front and back plates
• Optional removable side pouches that will accommodate either 6x8 ESBI or 6x6 SBI
• Single-handed emergency egress quick-release system
• Sewn-on rear hydration and cable management pouch
• Reinforced drag handle
• Ventilation channels front and back to reduce heat build-up
• Fully-adjustable in all directions
• Passive (foam) buoyancy panels with optionally differing levels of supplemental buoyancy – flotation panels provide a minimum of 13.5 lbs of positive flotation
• Optional fragmentation kit available including groin protector, yoke and collar assembly, lower back extender and deltoid
• MOLLE webbing on accessible areas
