The KDH Shadow is an extremely lightweight, concealable low-profile operations vest designed to be worn under a BDU top or other similar clothing while at the same time reducing the vests overall visible profile. Designed and engineered to meet broad yet similar user group needs, the KDH Shadow supports requirements for the Special Operations community and the general military for daily operations in non-permissive, high risk environments where body armor is mandatory, but overt tactical rigs are simply not an option. This system works well in conjunction with KDH’s Advanced Technical Plate Carrier.

• Low-profile, shooters cut design
• Vest shape provides robust coverage to the side of the torso
• Integrates ISAPI or ESAPI plates
• Carrier meets all MIL-C-43734D requirements, outer carrier constructed of 500 Denier Nylon Cordura, lining of Poly-mesh
• Incorporates a four point adjustable hook and loop/elastic closure system
• Large surface areas and external access/internal pockets to minimize profile
• Accepts front and back hard armor plates
• Easy to insert ballistics – front loading
• Ventilation channels front and back to reduce heat build-up
• Adjustable shoulders – non-elastic shoulder straps for comfortable support of the ballistic packs, plates and inserts

• Exceeds fragmentation/ballistic protection requirement Level MIL-B-44053
