Established in 2003 to meet the emerging individual protective equipment requirements of our Service Members, KDH is a qualified HUBZone Small Business Concern headquartered in Johnstown, Pennsylvania – a region with a rich history in the U.S. textile industry.

Focusing on consistent delivery of innovative, high-quality products, KDH has become a fully-integrated contract manufacturer and a leading designer and supplier of superior quality military personal protective equipment. KDH’s military product experience includes the supply of custom light assault-style and releasable body armor systems to the U.S. Navy since 2004. Additionally, KDH has become a major supplier to the DoD for Interceptor level body armor to include soft ballistic inserts for the Modular Tactical Vest (MTV), universal NAPE pads, and complete Outer Tactical and Improved Outer Tactical Vest (IOTV) systems.  KDH has a variety of high performance soft ballistic packages meeting the government’s rigorous requirements for use in combat enabling flexibility in solutions and best value to the military.

KDH operates two full-capability manufacturing and warehousing facilities that house the latest in soft ballistic system development equipment and technology.  Our highly trained and motivated work force is dedicated to complete customer satisfaction through reliable production with consistent quality.  The Johnstown facility, in addition to housing our corporate offices, consists of 35,000 square feet of armor cutting, sewing and ballistic design operations; as well as supports product development, sales and marketing.

Our second facility is located in Eden, North Carolina and consists of 49,000 square feet of additional cutting and sewing capacity as well as the latest in ultrasonic welding technology. Our Eden facility resides in Rockingham County which has been designated a Federal HUBZone region in its entirety by the Small Business Administration.
